No problem, to reset your password go to parkmyplate.com/ynot/forgot and enter your account email address to receive a password reset link.

How do I update my license plate?

Login on the parking site at parkmyplate.com/account/login. Once logged in on your tenant dashboard click on “My Profile” then the tab “My Permits.” Here you will see the car icon, click on “Request Permit Change.” One of the four available options is “Change Plate Number.” Follow the steps to update your license plate. Once completed you will receive an email confirmation.

Somebody is parked in my reserved parking space

Give us a call to have the unauthorized vehicle removed. When calling we will verify your parking space and get the info for the vehicle that’s parked in your space.

How do I register my visitor?

Go to the site at parkmyplate.com/visitors and follow the steps. Once the property name has been selected and the vehicle details entered in you will come to a confirmation page. Screenshot this page for your records.

What is required to register a vehicle?

Every apartment community is a little bit different. During the registration process the resident will be asked to submit the top portion of your lease agreement for residency verification. Vehicle proof of ownership or auto insurance for the vehicle may also be required.

I’m a resident, how do I register my vehicle?

Vehicle registration must be completed online. If you already have an account go to parkmyplate.com/account/login. If you are a first time user and don’t have an account go to parkmyplate.com/register and follow the steps. Once your vehicle has been submitted for review and approval you will receive an email confirmation. For assistance with registering please call one of our friendly customer service members.

What happens if I leave my car at the impound?

If a vehicle is left at the impound chances are the lienholder of the vehicle will come to retrieve it. If the vehicle doesn’t have a lienholder and is unclaimed it will go to auction after the notification process. Vehicles are held for about 45-50 days before going to auction.

Can I get belongings out of my car?

Yes, there is not a fee to remove your personal belongings out of your car. To do so you must present a valid government-issued photo ID and show proof of ownership to access the vehicle.

Are there any other fees?

Once a vehicle is at our storage facility for 24 hours a $50.00 notification fee will be assessed. This fee covers the costs associated with notifying the owner and the lienholder listed on registration per state law.

How much are the storage fees?

Storage fees accrue as soon as the vehicle arrives at the impound and are based on the weight of the vehicle. Most passenger vehicles will be accessed at the light duty rate of $22.85 plus tax. Heavier units or units over 25 feet in length will be charged $39.99 plus tax.

What is an impound fee?

The impound fee is $22.85 plus tax, this is a one time fee that is accrued as soon as the vehicle arrives at the facility. This fee covers the state motor vehicle record (MVR) from the Department of Transportation. This fee also covers the wrapping/tarping of vehicles should windows be left cracked, open or are broken.

What is the tow fee and how much is it?

A tow fee is the fee that is charged to take the vehicle to the impound. These fees range depending on the weight of the vehicle and the city the vehicle is towed in. The fees range from light to heavy duty. In Dallas city limits these fees range from $121 to $455 per unit and outside of Dallas limits from $272 to $489 per unit.

Where is my vehicle being stored?

We operate multiple convenient storage facilities in the greater DFW area. Where your vehicle was towed from determines the impound it is brought to. Please use the Find Your Car Now option or contact us directly with your vehicle information, and we will confirm the specific location where your vehicle is being stored.

What is needed to retrieve my vehicle?

To retrieve your vehicle, you will need to provide payment in full for all accrued fees, a valid government-issued photo ID and ownership proof.

Who can pick my car up?

A family member or friend can retrieve your vehicle for you. They must provide payment in full for all accrued fees and a valid government-issued photo ID. They will be required to fill out a VSF release form (available upon request at the impound) if they are not listed on the vehicle’s insurance or registration.

Are you open on federal holidays?

Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for your convenience.

When can my vehicle be picked up?

All impound lots are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays for vehicle releases.

Can you give me a discount?

No. Our fee structure is set according to regulated rates, and we do not offer discounts.

Do you accept payments over the phone?

No, payment must be made in person at our storage facility when you come to retrieve your vehicle.

Can we make payments over time?

No, full payment of all accrued fees is required at the time of vehicle retrieval.

Do you accept debit/credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit & debit cards. A processing fee will be added to card transactions. A valid government-issued photo ID matching the cardholder is required for verification.

Do you accept checks?

No, we do not accept checks as a form of payment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards. A valid government-issued photo ID matching the cardholder is required for all card transactions. We do not accept checks. Please note if paying cash you must bring the exact amount (we do not offer change at the facility). If paying with a card a processing fee will be added.

When do the fees go up?

Storage fees increase after the first 12 hours (if the first 12 hours fall over 2 calendar days) and every day thereafter at 12:00am.

Are these fees legitimate?

Our fees are established and regulated in accordance with local and state requirements.

How was my vehicle towed?

Our trained operators utilize the appropriate towing method and equipment best suited for your vehicle to ensure its safe removal and transport in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Where can I see the actual laws for towing my car?

Information regarding towing laws in Texas can typically be found on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) website.

Why was my car towed?

Your vehicle was towed because it was found to be in violation of the posted parking policy on the private property where it was located.
